CEO, Platinum Entertainment in the middle with other Kayo-kayo committee members
On the 21st of July, 2021, a meeting was scheduled with the C.E.O of Platinum Entertainment, Olayinka Edu at the Aremo T.J Abass’ abode in Epe.

The general meeting convened by the Aremo commenced at 11 a.m with an introductory speech and a brief introduction of each committee member’s role in the 2021 Kayo Kayo Festival.
Aremo T.J Abbas’, the coordinator for the Kayo Kayo festival, officially assigned and informed Olayinka Edu of her roles as a member of both the publicity and entertainment committee.
Other committees include the ceremonial committee, religious and cultural committee.
The proposed date for the festival was initially slated from the 21st to 28th of August 2021 but is now postponed to take place from the 8th to 11th, September 2021.
The schedule for the four-day event is as follows; Day 1 will kick off with a press conference and a play production, Day 2 is the Oba’s visitation to selected ancestral homes and Tajud, Day 3 is the Jumat service and the final day wraps up with a special prayer and Etufu.

The Aremo requested for Olayinka Edu to produce a documentary of the Kayo Kayo Festival. However, she also suggested making the documentary a stage production for this year that will chronicle the past and future of the Kayo-Kayo festival.
The Aremo also reiterated the goal of the committee to envision the festival as a global recognition and a yearly event.
The meeting had in attendance the former coordinator, Chief Alade Saliu-Okulu; General Secretary, Edu Bayo; Assistant Secretary, Lai Ezewuro; Consultant, Olayinka Edu; Chairman Ceremonial, Barrister Bayo Saliu; Chairman Entertainment, Ayanbajo Abioye; Publicity Secretary, Giwa Moshood Olasupo; Legal Adviser, Barrister Bola Balogun Olabode and Chairman General Purpose Committee, Honorable Yusuf Adio.
Other members includes; Adebayo Wasiu, Alade-Raji Olusola, Mohammed Babatunde, Tukuru Ibrahim, Agbadanla Ibrahim, Harun Wasiu, Tobi Odunsi, Alhaji Kekere Ekun and Shakiru Ayedun.
